The movie about Mandela’s long walk to freedom is based on his autobiography. this movie follows his childhood, and his victory and the election of being the first black president in 1994 in South Africa. The 95 year old Mandela fails to attend the premier as he is under medical care at home, Mandela’s ex-wife said that she had no words to describe the film “translation of the painful past.

After Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in jail, against the racism he said that he will ask for forgiveness divided nation,winning  him world wide as a peace icon.

The movie will hit New Zealand at the end of January 2014.

Wild Fire Over In Australia.

During last week there was a wild fire in Australia,The fire fighters think that this fire will get worse and also get in higher temperatures and increased winds hit Sydney this week.

The blue mountains over in west of Sydney,over 200 homes have been destroyed and also another 109 houses has been destroyed on Friday last week (309 houses destroyed altogether) bush fires are very common in Australia but not in this time of the year.

One man has died from trying to save his house from the fire.

My first day at school

My first day at point england school was pretty scary because I had to introduce my self in the front of my class,when I had finished introducing my self my teacher told me where my desk was and he also told me his name,his name was Mr Barks he was an awesome teacher to work with.

Finding friends at this school was pretty easy to me because the boys introduced themselves to me and some boys took me for a look around the school area I felt welcomed at this school because people were very kind.

I think that this school has been the best school I had ever been to out of all the school i’ve been to.

During this week there was a huge earl that was found on surfaces. They were going to build it under the sand so when it turn into bones and they would put it into a museum for people can see it took 15 people to hold it up. Lots of people were taking photos and videos. Its eye where light blue and the body was light grey it was huge and beautiful. People were dragging the earl to the sand.

massive cyclone that threatened eastern India.

During this week there has been a cyclone in eastern India causing people to evacuate from their homes,close to a million people had evacuated from their homes this cyclone has been named Phailin.This cyclone was the strongest to hit India in more decade,and washed away tens of thousands of muds and thatched roof huts (protective covering that covers or forms the top of a building).

MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE IN PAKISTAN.

What in the world is going on,well a major earthquake had made a new island in Pakistan. It was a massive quake that happened because at least 45 people had died.The earthquake was so powerful that it had caused the seabed to rise and create a small  island in Pakistan’s coastline. Space Shuttle Launched.

-On January 28 1986, the space shuttle Challenger launched from the Kennedy space center at Cape Canaveral, as the world watched on T.V.  The space shuttle had soared into the sky and then,  shockingly exploded and that was 73 seconds after  take-off.  All of the seven members died from this disaster.
